1. Core Principle: Independent Reseller & Condition of Goods
1.1 Independent Reseller Status: Main Street 505 operates as an independent reseller of collectible items, sourced globally from various channels including official retailers, distributors, and secondary markets. We are not the manufacturer and are not affiliated with The Walt Disney Company or its licensees.
1.2 Condition & Basis of Sale: Items described as “On-Hand Stock”, “Pre-Owned”, or “Confirmed Style” (implying opened packaging) are sold strictly on an “as-is” basis, meaning in their current state as described and photographed on the product page. We endeavour to highlight significant flaws observed on these items. Items sourced specifically for your order (e.g., described as “Sourced Item” or “Pre-Order”) are procured new from trusted suppliers where possible. However, all items sold by Main Street 505, whether on-hand or sourced new, fall under the disclaimers below regarding manufacturing variations and transit conditions.
1.3 Disclaimer on Manufacturing Variations & Defects: Applicable to ALL items (New or Pre-Owned): As an independent reseller, Main Street 505 cannot be held responsible for minor variations or imperfections inherent to mass-produced collectibles that occur during manufacturing. This includes, but is not limited to: slight scratches, paint inconsistencies (smudges, overlaps, minor unpainted areas), moulding lines, slight colour differences from promotional images, joint looseness/tightness, or minor glue marks. These common manufacturing variations do not qualify any item for return or refund. For items sourced new, we rely on the manufacturer’s quality control; for on-hand items, we describe observed condition.
1.4 Product Representation: Product dimensions are approximate (allow 0.5-1cm variance). Colours may vary slightly due to lighting/screen differences. Images are for reference; the physical item prevails.
2. Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Circumstances
Beyond the core principle, returns or refunds will NOT be accepted under the following circumstances (including but not limited to):
2.1 Change of Mind: Disliking the item, ordering the wrong item, or finding it does not meet personal expectations.
2.2 Manufacturing Variations: As detailed in Section 1.3.
2.3 Packaging Condition: The original outer box, inner packaging, and any included character cards associated with items (especially blind boxes) may sustain creases, dents, tears, or other minor damage during original distribution, the opening process (for confirmed styles), storage, or transit (including transit to you). The condition of the packaging (box, card, plastic insert) is NOT considered a defect and does NOT qualify an item for return or refund. Our primary offering is the collectible figure/item itself.
2.4 Blind Box Specifics: Randomness: Blind boxes contain random items; receiving a style you did not desire is not grounds for return. * Case Assortment: When purchasing a sealed case, the inclusion of a ‘secret’ or ‘chase’ style replacing a normal style is standard manufacturer practice and does not constitute an error. Confirmed Styles: Items sold as “Confirmed Style” have had packaging opened solely to verify the character. This is necessary and clearly stated; the opened nature does not qualify for return.
2.5 Pricing: Prices may fluctuate. The price at the time of order confirmation is final. No price adjustments are offered.
2.6 Minor Discrepancies: Slight variances in size or colour (as per Section 1.4).
2.7 International Compliance & Labelling: Products sourced globally may have safety labels/warnings not compliant with local regulations or not in the local language. This is accepted by the buyer upon purchase.
2.8 Specific Item Types: Gift cards, store credits, memberships, items described as “mystery”/”grab bag”, and items collected in person are strictly non-refundable/non-returnable.
3. Eligible Circumstances for Service: Significant Error by Main Street 505
The ONLY circumstance under which a return or refund may be considered is if you receive an item substantially and verifiably incorrect compared to your order confirmation (e.g., completely wrong character sent when a specific, confirmed style was ordered) or if a paid-for item is missing (excluding blind box randomness as per 2.4).
3.1 Reporting Procedure: You MUST contact Main Street 505 at info@mainstreet505.com within 7 days of successful delivery (as per tracking).
3.2 Required Evidence: You MUST provide clear, uncut, and complete unboxing video evidence, starting from showing the sealed, unopened package exterior (with shipping label visible), through the entire opening process, clearly showing all contents received. Photos alone are generally insufficient.
3.3 Resolution: If, upon review of the evidence, the error is confirmed to be solely ours, we will discuss a resolution (e.g., return of the incorrect item for the correct one if available, or a refund). We will cover reasonable, pre-agreed return shipping costs only if a return is authorised by us (proof of cost required). Failure to provide adequate proof will result in the claim being denied.
4. Order Modifications & Cancellations
4.1 Strict Time Limit: Orders are considered final upon placement and processed promptly. Consequently, modifications after placement are severely restricted. Requests for minor amendments (e.g., correction of typographical errors in the delivery address, or potentially changing selected styles subject to feasibility and at Main Street 505’s sole discretion) may only be considered if submitted in writing strictly within 24 hours of the initial order placement.
4.2 Processing Fee for Refunds Resulting from Amendments: Should any requested and subsequently approved amendment made within the 24-hour window (including, but not limited to, partial or full order cancellation, or switching to lower-priced items) result in a refund being due, please note that a processing fee equivalent to 10% of the refundable amount will be deducted prior to issuing the refund. This fee covers administrative and payment processing costs.
4.3 No Amendments After 24 Hours: For the avoidance of doubt, no requests for modification or cancellation whatsoever will be entertained or accepted after 24 hours have elapsed from the time the order was placed.
4.4 Mandatory Procedure: All requests pertaining to potential order modification or cancellation within the permitted 24-hour window must be submitted in writing via email to info@mainstreet505.com. Requests made via other channels may not be processed.
5. Shipping, Stock & International Orders
5.1 Dispatch: We aim to dispatch orders within 14 working days (unless stated otherwise, e.g., for sourced items or pre-orders which may have longer lead times specified on the product page).
5.2 Availability: In the rare event an ordered item (on-hand or sourced) becomes unavailable, we will notify you and refund the unavailable item. Refund processing time depends on your payment provider.
5.3 Customs & Duties (International): The buyer is solely responsible for all destination import duties, taxes, and clearance. If a package is returned/destroyed due to non-payment or failure to clear customs, NO refund for the order or shipping will be issued. Any return costs incurred by Main Street 505 will be the buyer’s responsibility.
5.4 Transit Risks (International): We pack securely and use tracked shipping. However, risk of loss or damage during transit rests with the buyer and the carrier once dispatched. We will assist with carrier claims where possible, but are not liable for transit issues. Transit damage is distinct from manufacturing defects.
6. Refund Processing & Returns Procedure (Only if agreed under Section 3)
- Agreed refunds are processed to the original payment method. Refund processing times depend on your payment provider.
- If a return is authorised by us, items must be sent back as instructed to our Hong Kong address. Return shipping is initially paid by the buyer; reasonable costs reimbursed upon successful inspection if error was ours. Item must be in the exact condition received.
7. Free Gifts
Refunds/returns may void eligibility for free gifts. We may request the gift’s return or deduct its value.
