Dear collectors, please be advised that shipping services to the United States are temporarily suspended due to carrier limitations. We anticipate resuming normal service as soon as possible.

What This Means for Your Orders:

If you place an order with a US delivery address during this period:

  • Your order will be processed and payment collected
  • The items will be reserved in our inventory specifically for you
  • Your treasures will be carefully packed and held securely until shipping resumes
  • You will receive an email notification as soon as your parcel is dispatched

No action is required on your part – we’ll handle everything and keep you informed of any developments.

Hello there! Miss Minnie here. I’m absolutely thrilled at the thought of sending these cherished Disney pre-owned collectibles and pins from my Hong Kong haven out into the world. It brings me so much joy to connect with fellow collectors like you! We currently ship these little pieces of magic to the following destinations:

  • Australia, Belgium, Canada, Finland, Ireland, Japan, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, South Korea, Thailand, United Arab Emirates*, United Kingdom, United States.

Order Processing & Handling

As each treasure is personally handled and packaged with care by me, please allow up to 14 working days (excluding Hong Kong public holidays) for your order to be processed and dispatched. I appreciate your patience and understanding! Once your package is on its way, you’ll receive an email notification with your tracking number.

Shipping Methods & Estimated Delivery Times

  • We primarily use Air Mail with tracking for our standard shipments.
  • Free Standard Shipping includes:
    • Air Mail with tracking number
    • HK$5,000 Insurance Coverage (covering loss or damage during transit up to this amount)
  • Estimated delivery timeframes after dispatch are typically between 7 to 21 working days, depending on your location, customs processing times, and local postal services. Please understand these are estimates, and actual delivery times can vary.
  • Tracking: You can track your parcel via the link provided in your shipping confirmation email. Please note tracking updates depend on the carrier and destination postal service.
  • Express Delivery & Additional Services: If you require faster delivery, signature confirmation, or higher insurance coverage beyond the standard HK$5,000 included, please email me at info@mainstreet505.com before placing your order to discuss arrangements and potential additional costs.

Shipping Costs & Free Shipping Offer

  • Shipping costs are calculated based on destination and order value and will be shown during checkout.
  • Free Standard Shipping (via tracked Air Mail with standard HK$5,000 insurance coverage included) is available for single transactions meeting the following thresholds:
    • Hong Kong: Self pick-up available at our Causeway Bay Store (Please select this option at checkout and await scheduling confirmation).
    • Asia (Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, UAE*): Orders over HK$1,000.
      • (Approx. JPY 18,390 / MYR 565 / SGD 170 / KRW 183,710 / THB 4,325 / AED 475 – Reference 23 Apr 2025)
    • International (Australia, Belgium, Canada, Finland, Ireland, Netherlands, NZ, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK, US): Orders over HK$2,000.

  • Currency Display and Payment: All prices are listed and charged in Hong Kong Dollars (HKD). Currency converter provided for reference only. Final charges in Hong Kong Dollars. Exchange rates updated regularly. Last update: 1 May 2025.

  • Promotions: All promotional discounts are applied before calculating eligibility for free shipping.

*Delivery in the United Arab Emirates is made to P.O. Boxes and mail item has to be collected by the recipient. If the recipient does not have a P.O. Box with Emirate Post, recipient need to collect the mail item at Post Office or arrange door delivery for which additional charges and VAT will apply.

Important Shipping Details

  • Single Shipping Address: Each order can only be shipped to one address. For multiple addresses, please place separate orders.
  • Eco-Conscious Packaging: We care about our planet! I often use clean, reused boxes and packing materials (like bubble wrap) to give them a second life, while ensuring your treasures are securely protected for their journey. Decorative packaging is kept minimal.
  • Multiple Shipments: Occasionally, based on item size or logistics, we might split a single order into multiple packages. We’ll handle this as needed to get your items to you safely.
  • Rural & PO Box Addresses: Delivery to remote areas or PO Boxes may take longer than estimated. Please allow extra time. Tracking updates may cease once the package reaches the local sorting facility or PO Box station; please check directly with them for final delivery status. Deliveries may not occur on local public holidays.

Customs, Duties, Taxes & Compliance

  • Buyer Responsibility for Import Charges: Main Street 505 is based in Hong Kong. Prices listed do NOT include any import duties, taxes (VAT, GST), customs fees, or other charges that may be levied by your country’s customs authorities upon import.
  • Payment of Charges: If assessed, these charges are the sole responsibility of the recipient. You will likely be contacted directly by your local customs office or the shipping carrier to settle these charges before delivery can occur.
  • Gifting: If sending an item as a gift internationally, please be aware the recipient may be contacted to pay these import charges.
  • Refusal to Pay: If a package is refused, returned, or destroyed due to non-payment of customs charges or failure to provide required documentation, no refund will be issued for the order or shipping costs. Any return shipping fees or additional costs incurred by Main Street 505 due to such returns will also be the buyer’s responsibility.
  • Product Compliance (Pre-Owned Items): As we specialise in pre-owned and vintage collectibles sourced globally, please be aware:
    • Original manufacturer warranties are likely expired or void.
    • Manufacturer service options may not be available.
    • Original manuals, instructions, or safety warnings may be missing or not in your local language.
    • The product’s original design, standards, or labelling may not perfectly align with your country’s current specific requirements for new goods.
    • By purchasing, you confirm you are lawfully importing the item(s) and agree that the recipient is responsible for complying with all laws and regulations of the destination country.

Addressing Order & Delivery Issues

    • Incorrect or Missing Items: In the rare event you receive the wrong item or an item is missing (due to our error, not blind box randomness), please email me at info@mainstreet505.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and required evidence.

      • Required Evidence: You MUST provide clear, uncut, and complete unboxing video evidence, starting from showing the sealed, unopened package exterior (with shipping label visible), through the entire opening process, clearly showing all contents received. Photos alone are generally insufficient.
      • We will review your evidence and work with you to correct the mistake if verified.
    • Lost or Damaged in Transit: We package items carefully. If your package arrives significantly damaged due to transit handling, or if it appears lost (allow a reasonable time beyond estimates), please:

      1. Contact your local post office immediately to report the issue and inquire about their claims process.
      2. Contact us at info@mainstreet505.com. We will provide copies of shipping documents and any necessary information from our end to support your claim with the carrier. Please understand the final resolution and any compensation lies with the shipping carrier according to their terms.
    • Incorrect Address Provided: We cannot be held responsible for non-delivery or additional shipping costs incurred due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer. Please double-check your shipping information carefully at checkout!

    • Undeliverable & Returned Packages: If a package is returned to us as undeliverable (for reasons other than customs refusal, e.g., incorrect address, recipient unavailable after multiple attempts), we will contact you via email. Reshipping will incur additional shipping charges. If we do not receive a response from you within 30 days from our email notification, or if you refuse to pay additional shipping fees, the package will be considered abandoned. No compensation will be provided to the buyer in such cases.

Order Modifications & Cancellations

  • We understand that sometimes mistakes happen! Orders are processed quickly to get your treasures on their way.

    • Minor Amendments (e.g., Address Typos): If you notice a minor error like a typo in your shipping address, please email us immediately at info@mainstreet505.com, strictly within 24 hours of placing your order. We might be able to correct it if your order hasn’t entered the final processing stage, but this is not guaranteed.
    • Major Changes & Cancellations: Please review your order carefully before confirming. No cancellations (whole or partial) or major changes (e.g., changing items, combining orders) are accepted after 24 hours from when the order was placed.
    • Approved Amendments & Refunds (Within 24 Hours): In the rare instance that an amendment requested within the 24-hour window is approved by us and results in a partial or full refund being due (e.g., if an agreed-upon item removal leads to a refund), please note that a 10% processing fee will be deducted from the refundable amount. All requests must be made via email.
